What's the process?

Your AKJ Holster is made to order!
Once you place an order for your holster and we confirm that it has been recieved, here's what happens next:

  1. We select the leather and cut out the holster.
  2. Using a molding prop, we get the proper measurments to find the stitch lines.
  3. The holster is dyed to the color that you have requested. 
  4. The holster is glued up and trimmed where necessary
  5. Following the pre-measured stitch-lines, the holster is sewn up.
  6. The holster is soaked and then wet molded to the gun mold of your firearm to obtain a snug, perfect fit.
  7. The holster is edged and sealed.
  8. FInally, the belt loops are attached and your holster is shipped out!

Honoring Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson started AKJ Concealco in Idaho. For nearly 20 years, he served the local law enforcement with qualtiy holsters and found himself shipping them throughout North America. Failing health forced him to stop this passion and we lost Andrew in 2020. 

Andrew's survivors reached out to us at Legion Leather to see if we would be interested in purchasing any of his old equipment. After getting to know the family and learning about Andrew, we offered to purchase his equipment on the condition that we carry on his legacy. We are now proudly reproducing Andrews holsters and plan to carry on for as long as is possible.
